My Dear Friends, This is actually my first newsletter of the year so perhaps we should call it: ‘The Spring Newsletter’! This is not because I have had nothing to report. Actually it has been exactly the opposite. In fact, many exciting things are going to take place this year. Luckily I have been given tremendous chances to exhibit in some exciting spaces. The highlights of the last three months have been: Nomination for the Health’s Shoosmiths Art Prize This means I have the opportunity to show 7 of my latest works at Milton Keynes Hospital. I am also privileged to be participating in a group exhibition at Shoosmiths Lawyers Office in Milton Keynes where the prizewinner will be eventually be announced. You will have the opportunity to see my works there for the next 6 months. I do hope you have the chance to visit if you are in the area. Another significant highlight is that I have sold two of my dearest paintings, both in a matter of days of one another. One painting joined a private collection in London and another painting travels all the way to Sweden. I can’t tell you how exciting this has been for me. In addition to these uplifting events I have spent the first part of the year renovating my studio space. Well, I have been rearranging it in a way that will hopefully make my creative processes even more creative than ever.To me it seems that I have the most inspirational space in the world. In fact I realize how blessed I am to have been able to keep working in my studio space without having to fret over financial issues. During this time I have spent much time reflecting over my work and its direction. I believe it is very important to allow time to think without necessarily doing. This has lead me to produce an unique piece which I am thinking I might launch at my very first solo show later in the autumn. I can’t tell you how excited I am by this prospect. For me this will be the most amazing event of 2014 so far. I will be showing a collection of my latest works of art featuring the surprise creation of the year and it’s going to happen in London More details to follow. The first event I have to present is Spotlight's Exhibition with Exhibit Here and Moderna Art. This is a group exhibition where I will hang four of my latest works. I will be showing a collection of my most wonderful pieces representing earth’s tectonic plates colliding, floating and drifting in the most beautiful way. These paintings show and complement another aspect of my techniques. I really hope you will be able to see them in the flesh as nothing compares with the experience of seeing it in reality. Save dates: Spotlight' Exhibition with Exhibit Here and Moderna Art Where: Chase House, 305 Chase Road, Southgate, London N14 6LZ When: 7th - 28th April 2014 You might want to check out the popular art online magazines Up the Staircase Quarterly--Issue May where more work is featured.
